Celebrating by Giving This Holiday Season – Especially Today
December 1, 2020: Giving has always been part of who we are as QVC Group. But this year, it’s more important than ever to support those in need. Many of our businesses have launched extended holiday giving campaigns that are running from October through December, and our video commerce brands – QVC and HSN – are also marking today, Giving Tuesday, with matching programs that help our customers’ gifts go even further.
Today only, QVC is donating 10% of the dollar value of all gift cards purchased to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. QVC has also committed to providing 2 million meals to families in need through an extended giving campaign that began on October 15 and runs through December 24. Each time a customer purchases one of 20 items from the QVC + Feeding America product assortment, QVC is making a $1 donation to Feeding America, which helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks, 2 million meals. HSN is supporting childhood cancer patients and their families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the St. Jude “Thanks and Giving®” campaign, the annual fundraiser that brings celebrities, retailers, and shoppers together during the holiday season to support St. Jude. Our Cornerstone brands – Garnet Hill, Frontgate, Grandin Road, and Ballard Designs – are also supporting the St. Jude’s “Thanks and Giving” campaign by promoting it on their websites and social pages, in customer emails, and over the phone on customer service lines.
