Cornerstone President Empowers Women at Retail Summit
May 16, 2019: Cornerstone President Claire Spofford recently shared successes from her career alongside other top women leaders in the retail industry at the Women in Retail Leadership Summit in Miami, FL.
The three-day summit which inspires women to improve their professional lives and business strategies, included a #Careerbrag Panel Session. The discussion featured women leaders sharing remarkable stories and accomplishments from their careers. During the panel, Claire shared stories from her 20 years of leading and developing diverse teams in the retail industry.
“We have worked hard to develop a real sense of community across the leadership teams at Cornerstone Brands,” Spofford said. “I am really proud of the team I have been able to put in place and the open collaboration and sharing of best practices we have done across our brands.”
The event marked the seventh summit held by the Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC), a retail industry networking group.
Earlier this year WIRLC, and Total Retailnamed Claire and QVC Group’s Mary Campbell to the Top Women in Retail list which honors women leaders who are driving positive change in the retail industry.
