Mike George is a longtime retail leader and champion of customer-centered innovation. In August 2026, he returned to QVC^® Group as Chair of the Board and Interim Chief Executive Officer, nearly five years after concluding his first tenure with the business.

Mike George served as CEO of Qurate Retail, Inc. (which became QVC Group) from 2018 to 2021 and served as President and CEO of QVC, Inc. from 2004 to 2021. During this time, Mike guided the company’s evolution from a television retail pioneer into a global, multiplatform live video retailer. He strengthened the company’s presence across broadcast, digital, mobile, streaming and social platforms and oversaw the integration of QVC, HSN^®, and the Cornerstone brands.

Mike joined QVC from Dell, Inc., where he was the Chief Marketing Officer and led its U.S. Consumer business. Prior to this, Mike was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc. and led the firm’s North American Retail Industry Group. He also served as a member of the firm’s partner evaluation committee.

Mike also serves on the Board of Directors of AutoZone and Ralph Lauren, is a past Chair and current Executive Committee member of the National Retail Federation, and chairs the Board of Directors of the National Constitution Center.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and his MBA in finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
