QVC Group Honored With a 2021 Accessories Council Excellence Award
November 16, 2021: QVC Group won accolades for its corporate responsibility initiatives at the 2021 Accessories Council Excellence ACE Awards, celebrated on Tuesday, November 2, in New York City.
QVC Group was recognized as a “Hero” for its longstanding support of small businesses, its efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion, and its contributions to a wide range of charitable efforts – particularly during the pandemic. This year’s 25th annual ACE Awards focused on diversity and inclusivity, COVID relief, sustainability, and ongoing charitable work.
Renowned fashion designer and QVC vendor Isaac Mizrahi presented the Hero award to QVC US and HSN President Leslie Ferraro, who accepted virtually through a short video message.
“I am so proud and honored to accept this award on behalf of the entire QVC Group team and our seven brands,” Leslie said. “After joining the company in 2019, I quickly saw our long-standing passion for building a better world through initiatives such as Beauty with Benefits and FFANY Shoes on Sale, which have raised millions of dollars to support cancer patients and research. Then, in early 2020, I saw our team rise to an unforeseen, almost incomprehensible challenge – finding creative ways to meet urgent needs created by this pandemic.”
In honor of this award, QVC Group is making a $25,000 donation to one of the Accessories Council’s featured charities, Blessings in a Backpack, which fights food insecurity by providing weekend meals to school-aged children across the country.
